上周,我们分析了Test 1的两个作文任务(可查看微博主页,点击文章查看),这周我们继续分析Test 2的作文分析。

线图在2019年的雅思小作文任务中是“失爱”的(被考察次数少)。2020年秋季(如果可以线下考),说不定就不一样了。

线型图最容易的情况出现了:

1) 仅三条线,不多不复杂,不少不怕没话说。

2) 整体趋势趋同,焦点寥寥仅一个,特别好特别好。

* 其实,阮恩老师一直在讲:看穿图形形式,看到图形的本质,本质直击考察点。

线图的本质就是:

1)数值的变化,于是你要会描述变化。

2)数据之间的比较(不要靠线的位置和线形来体现),于是你要会描述比较。





* 那么,描述比较,我们在讲柱图的时候其实已经讲过了。当然,今天讲线图的时候,还会再讲。描述变化时,怎么处处都在应对打分的四个方面呢?阮恩(章跃)老师以下面的示范来讲解。

破题的两个维度:

1)整体观察三条线,先描述它们的similarity再描述difference(如果有值得描述的difference)。

2)根据线的位置逐条描述,并且通过线的位置来比较每根线条所对应的数值。

但是,阮恩(章跃)老师觉得,其实1)和2)融合起来写,简直完美呀!难不难?有人给你摸出套路就不难:

A Caribbean island is studied in terms of the number of tourists visiting it from 2010 to 2017. The result, illustrated in lines, indicates the island’s growing popularity overall and also in two types of visit. ← 这里(开头处)就对全图的概况做出描述(overview),于是全文整体形成“总—分”结构。

The 8-year period witnessed aremarkableoverall growth , 句子别急停,善用状语就有机会用单个句子传递更丰富的信息 → not significantly interrupted by thestagnantyear of 2016. 很需要一句话来联系表示总数的线和表示具体两种游客的线 → To break the growth of the total down to the two specific groups of visitors, one group increased from 0.7 million to 2 million, and the other from 0.3 to 1.5 million.

接下来的这一段是本文的高能密集段落:

1)关注句子的主语的频繁变化;2)关注表达变化的动词(包括这些动词变形后);

3)关注表达增涨/下降的词汇;

4)关注主题词汇(landed visitors和cruising visitors比题目中给出的表达简洁许多);

5)依然关注状语从句的使用。
