2013年高考新课标卷（I、II）英语作文

新课标卷（以前的全国卷I）历年高考英语作文，多是以书信形式呈现的提纲类作文，为何？我以为这样的作文形式更能够展现考生的语言表达能力，而这正是高考考查的目标。给出提纲，并留有足够的发挥空间，考生只需专注于写好8至10个句子，并做好句际衔接，构建连贯篇章。这其实并不容易，考验的是学生的基本功力。漫画类、图表、表格类（柱形图、扇形图等）等题材，新课标卷中几乎不怎么考了，为何？因为，这些题材相较书信提纲类作文，只是多了一个外壳，无非是给考生在审题中设置一些障碍，这与语言表达能力本身无关。最终都是要回到8至10个句子的表达上来的。从英语能力的考查来讲，还是书信提纲类来的直接。

How are you doing?I wonder if you could sell some Chinese knots for me. I made them myself with red silk threads, cloth and other materials. They look really beautiful in the shape of a diamond, about 5 inches long and 4 inches wide. In China, these knots stand for friendship, love and good luck.
