My Home Town

我的家乡

My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

我的家乡是个非常美丽的地方。他坐落在一条大河附近，是一个富饶的鱼米之乡。

But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.

但是在旧社会，我的家乡非常的贫穷。很多人没有工作，他们非常艰难的生活着。

In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people is greatly improved. From Joozone.com.

我们那是1949年解放的，从那时开始，我们那发生了巨大的变化。路宽了，工厂，学校、医院、电影院、剧院一个个掘地而起，人们的生活水平得到了相当的改善与变化。

I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so as to make it still richer and more beautiful.

我爱我的家乡，我更爱我家乡人民。是他们的辛苦劳动让我们的家乡变得如此的美丽富饶。
