This term our class carried out an inquiry learning.

In order to make this activity goes well, we were divided into groups in advance. There were three people in my group, and all of us wanted to cooperate effectively so that we could gain much in the given time, so we first discussed what subject we would choose and how we work together. Upon getting preparation, we then hurried to the library, surfing the Internet to find useful information. Hours passed, we got a lot we needed, so we went homes in our happiness. The following days, we analyzed our data, and at the same time, we did survey in our campus. Winning approval from such many students, we feel more excited to finish the subject. Soon came the deadline, we handed out our paper confidently, and we changed our ideas with my classmates. To clarify our result, we used PowerPoint, in which there were so many graphs, such as pie charts, bar charts. All the students and the teachers spoke highly of our work.

We are all very happy, because not only of the successful result, more importantly, but also we learned how to struggle with challenge and the strength of a team.

This term we carried out an Enquiry Learning in our class, from which I have learned much.

At first we got together and divided us into different groups. My group brainstormed about the topic heatedly. After the hot discussion we finally decide our topic-Low Carbon Living. Then we went to the library every afternoon after school to gather information by surfing the Internet and looking through varieties of books. And we designed some questionnaires to gain some objective data. After two weeks, we made a survey in our school. One of us was in charge of asking questions and the other two took some notes. All works done, we organized the data carefully and also wrote a detailed report. At the end of the term, in a class meeting we showed our report to the class. During the presentation, we used a pie chart to analyze the result of our research and discussed the topic with the rest of the class.

Through this Enquiry Learning, we all improved our social ability by doing the survey and gained a much better understanding of the process of a scientific research. I believe our hard work will finally pay off in the future.
