This（leon,这个杀手不太冷） is still one of my favourite movies of all time,I"ve been longing to watch it for quite a while but A Suan had stolen it and not given it back.
I"ve watched this movie maybe 10-15 times and I STILL love it,now that is testament to a great film.
It ranks it at #45 of the top 250 movies of all time at IMDB,which is also pretty impressive.
But I remember when I first saw it (It"s from 1994),it didn"t rank that highly and actually a lot of people hadn"t seen it as it wasn"t well received in America.Americans being rather blunt and simplistic found the movie somewhat paedophilic,which it isn"t of course.
It is Natalie Portmans first role,when she was just 12 years old and she does play a rather provocative character.
The movie starts out like any other trashy action movie,the first 5 minutes feeling stylised and lacking substance,but then the movie completely changes tack and takes you for an intense yet poignant ride.
It"s a movie about broken families,about living without emotion,about living with no one but a plant,or your fantasies.
The performance by a then twelve year old Portman is breathtaking,she captivates and really makes you feel her situation and loathing for her pathetic family.
The soundtrack is stunning,to me this is what movie making is about.
There"s no big budget,there"s no special effects,the action isn"t overly gory or all the time,the sc可敬ore is original..and well the whole thing just shows there IS NO replacement for good solid acting.
Gary Oldman does what he does best as a creepy,sadistically obsessed,slightly psychotic corrupt police officer.
Above that...the film is just beautifully directed,it is a true masterpeice,you can watch it over and over and learn more,appreciate the subtleties of the movie.
Leon is not another cheap action movie,it"s one of the most intensely emotional films you will ever see.
Make sure you see the full uncut version though,not the US version which has a rather important 24 minutes cut out.
If you haven"t seen this movie,as I have seen...many people haven"t
GO AND SEE IT NOW.
It"s one of the few movies on this earth that I give a 10/10.

As is known to all,hit men are seemed to be born cool.Leon turned different the moment he opened the door for Mathilda,when he decided for a hard but colorful new life.If only he hadn’t opened the door,his life would be grey as usual.If only he had fired the shot without hesitation,he wouldn’t trouble protecting the 12-year-old girl wherever she goes.There are so many if-only,but only one but will change everything.Films are like this,so do real lives.
After watching this film,of which there are a few scenes of my special favorite.When Mathilda said,is life always this hard or only when you are a kid,I was lost in thought.It is said that childhood is the happiest period of people’s life.Without loving parents or even a safe place to live in,her childhood is anything but happy.There is no doubt that sunshine and shade exist in this world at the very same time.Mathilda’s life turns a happy one the moment she was adopted by Leon.In addition,(we kill) no women no kids,which is the rule of the cleaners.Compared with those so-called cleaners,the fake milk powder makers are far from kind and humanistic,which reveals the fact of the lake of humanity in the real world.

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. 车，又到了拥有一颗感恩的心一站。“我的家里有个人很酷，三头六臂刀枪不入……”蓦地，一个哼唱着《爸爸去哪儿》主题曲的小奶声，在沉闷的车厢中飘扬起来，就似浑浊的静水中猛然漾起一朵美丽的涟漪。每一个人都向声音的源头望去，那是一个大概刚满四岁的小女孩，身着靓丽的羽绒服，在众人面前脱颖而出，像一张无趣的灰纸中点缀上了些许鲜艳的油彩。她的母亲紧紧握着女儿的小手，紧张地挪动在拥挤的人群中。歌声还没有停止。我身边的老奶奶见这母女俩就要过来了，立刻一副起身的样子，用苍老的声音轻声招呼小姑娘，：“来来来，过来坐吧，快——”话未说完，车突然启动了，老人一下子没站稳，又重重地跌回到座位上。歌声止住了。还“矗立”在一旁的我，不由得为她老人家捏了把汗，这老人，也要让座？！“不用，不用，”小姑娘的母亲不好意思的叫着，“您坐着就行，她不累。”那老人似乎也有些力不从心，但交织着的皱纹间分明就是：“这怎么行呢？那么小的孩子当然得坐着！”此时，我那颗浮躁的心，不知怎么了，渐渐平静下来，由衷地敬佩起老人。“这样吧，让小姑娘坐这里吧。”说着，老人在两腿间张开一段距离，拍了拍空出的座位，一脸的坚定，似乎无法让那个女孩儿坐下就是自己的罪过。小女孩儿想要坐过去，但又犹豫不决地昂起头，一脸可怜样求助她的妈妈。妇女不再拒绝，只好把小女孩抱了过去，老人就像对待自己的小孙女，将她紧紧搂在怀里。歌声又开始了。她们就像祖孙俩，每一个人的脸上都是灿烂的笑容。不知不觉间，我到站了，该下车了，可此时的双腿却没有了刚刚的酸楚，身上也全无冬日的寒冷，大概就是因为心中的那股暖流吧。

后来我每当回忆起那一天，我都会为那个老人感到真心的敬佩，为她而骄傲。冬天再低的温度，也无法冻住我心中的温暖！这个冬天不太冷！
