投诉信(Letter of Complaint)

在当今商品经济时代,商品买卖活动非常普遍。在日常生活中,因衣食住行、购买商品而产生的质量问题或者对所接受的服务不满意。具体来说,主要涉及产品质量缺陷、货物缺陷、货物缺漏及货款延误、服务或者修理不及时三个方面,这时可以写投诉信(A Letter of Complaint )求得解决。投诉信与普通书信的格式基本相同。但要注意的是,写投诉信的目的是为了求得一个解决问题的办法而不是为了泄愤,因此写信时一定要注意态度诚恳、直截了当。

一般说来,一封投诉信应包括三个最基本的方面:

1.投诉内容。一般放在信的开头。常用的表达法有:

I am writing to you about... which I received/bought ...

I am going to complain about ...

We are compelled to express our surprise and disappointment at finding that these products are of inferior quality.

2.投诉原因。一般讲述对商品质量或售后服务不满意的地方。常用的表达法有:

When we checked..., we noticed...

When I took... out of the bag and examined... closely, I found...

When I unpacked... and tried to use it, it did not work.

3.希望得到的结果。常用的表达法有:

Please let me know what you intend to do in this matter.

I am requesting a full investigation into the matter.

It is my sincerely hope that the problem will be solved in a mutual agreeable way.

I sincerely hope that quickly as possible.

投诉信范文:

这是一封要求调换打字机的信。作者首先说明了要投诉的商品是一台打字机。接着作者抱怨了打字机的质量问题:退格键坏了,行距调节器破裂。由于打字机是无条件保修一年,而本市又没有维修人员,作者最后要求调换产品。信中列举的质量问题符合实际,调换的理由充分,作者的态度诚恳,因而调换的要求是合理的。
