内容提示

本单元主要是围绕着"Intentions"这个话题,通过熟悉我们周围的旅游胜地来开阔眼界,丰富自己的阅历,使自己养成勤于思考,善于总结的好习惯。

教学目标

教材分析

本单元以Vacations为话题,共设计了四个部分的内容:

一、Section A

该部分有4个模块:

1.第一模块围绕Where would you like to go on vacation? 这一话题展开写( 1a)、听(1b)、说( 1c)训练

2.第二模块围绕the intentions and the difficulties we would meet when traveling进行听( 2a, 2b)、说( 2c)训练;

3.第三模块继续就上两个模块中的travel places这一话题展开训练,训练形式为给出景点特征的形容词或名词,模仿本单元的句型对话( 3a, 3b);

4.第四模块是对话训练,通过描述景点的优缺点谈论自己对旅游景点的审美情趣(4)。

二、Section B

该部分有4个模块:

1.第一模块是词汇或句型复习,谈论的话题是度假时应注意的重要问题(1);

2.第二模块给出一段对Jeff的介绍(模拟Jeff在旅游公司工作),谈论旅游中想做的事情和不想做的事情,主要通过听( 2a, 2b)、说( 2c)的方式来练习(表演对话);

3.第三模块围绕offer advice to travelers 这一话题展开阅读( 3a)和写作(3b)训练;

4.第四模块就an ideal place for a school trip这一话题以口语训练形式展开小组活动

三、Self Checkwhere,would,you,most,like,to,go,on。

该部分有2个模块:

1.第一模块以填空形式对所学词汇进行训练(1);

2.第二模块是借助风景名胜图片展开写作训练,谈谈喜欢或不喜欢某个旅游景点的理由(2)。

四、Reading

该部分共设置了4项任务:

第一项任务以谈论梦想和希望的方式加深学生对前几项任务的理解和一些重要知识的记忆(Section 1);

第二项任务要求学生通过快速阅读筛选、获取信息(Section 2, Section 3: 3a- 3c); 第三项任务利用讨论、问答等形式加深学生对阅读内容的理解(3d);

第一课时

教学目标

一、导入(lead-in)

教师展示一张世界地图。

说明:通过世界地图让学生复习以前曾经学过的国家和地小木偶的故事续编名,并教授相关的新单词。

让学生们一个一个的说出表示描述性的形容词thrilling, fascinating, peaceful, tiring, educational, exotic, boring, fun, 然后,教师总结这些词组,把这些词组呈现在屏幕上,让学生们齐读一遍。

二、教学句型I’d like„

1.句型引入和操练

让学生给出不同的回答,强调1 would like to=I’d like to和其他动词的搭配。 I’d call for help. I’d hold the rock.

老师不断强化句型,让学生有个模式进行下面的训练。

2.结对练习对话

另外再展示—些城市和景点图片让学生操练句型:

通过反复操练,巩固句型, 体会I’d like to的结构,为后面的讨论作铺垫。

三、教学SectionA-la,1c,2c

1.利用媒体资源中动画课件中的动画让学生根据动画内容对话,用刚刚学到的目标句型来操练。若有学生不明白。老师可先示范一次。

Step2 Presentation

1. Teach new words.

1> Show the new words on the screen by a projector.Teach students to read them till they can pronounce the words fluently and correctly.

2>Try to let students explain the adjectives and make up sentences with them..For example,exciting,do like this:

Let’s try to explain some new adjectives in our own words and make up some sentences now.See exciting first.Who can expain it in your own words in English? Help students to explain it.Exciting means not boring ,or means hard to be quiet. And give an example:Surfing makes us

Step3 Writing and filling(1a)

Tell students to look at the posters in the picture and compare them.Then discuss the three posters with students.Poster1, It’s a beach. A man with sunglasses is sleeping.Do the same to the other poster.Then let students fill in the chart with the adjectives.Check the answers.Provide the possible answers on the blackboard.

Vacation1: relaxing, peaceful, boring.

1.Play the tape for the first time.Students answer the question What are they talking about? Check the answer.They are talking about where they would like to go on vacation and why.

Show some pictures of the places with great interest all over the world and let students ask and answer:
